Why I Use Para-cord for my Grappling Hook Rope (Kaginawa 鈎縄)

I started braiding my own ropes from 550 and 850 para-cord a few years ago.  There has yet to be an instance where one of these ropes have snapped on me, and I have climbed many bridges, trees, buildings, and walls with them. If you intend to start climbing with a grappling hook for neo-ninjutsu practices, I recommend you take the type of rope used seriously. Find a teacher, or teach yourself about the best types of rope for climbing.

This is simply what I do, and do not expect others to emulate.

I am not responsible for your misdeeds…
